With each new release of a smartphone the size and definition of images and videos keeps increasing. As a result these files have become incredibly large.
Email has been the primary mode of participating in a Group Greet, but with the ever increasing size of media files and the limits (eg. 25Mb for many) that the email providers are instituting it is no longer a good choice for media submission.
Group Greets now provides a direct method to upload from computer, smartphone and tablet – the ADD button.
Interestingly for IOS/Android this mechanism also allows you to directly record your video and upload in one step.
We will continue to support the email option in the interim, but remember that email submissions may not appear for 24 hours. Directly ADDed/uploaded items appear immediately.
